Our cabins are clean and comfortable. Recently renovated with new ensuite bathrooms but retaining the feel of the traditional Straddie beach shacks. Cabins are individually themed with shells, fish, beach, boats, crabs and have a unique theme to each.

They are equipt with a refrigerator, two induction hotplates, a small oven, electric jug,toaster, crockery, cutlery,saucepans and cooking gear,TV and video, doonas and pillows. We supply all linen for the cabins but please bring your own beach towels.

All cabins enjoy complete access to the waterfront for fishing, dolphin watching, ballgames or just relaxing with a glass of wine.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY...

We just spend 2 nights in cabin 1. The room we had was great, resently renovated, great bathroom. Our room had its own kitchen and a clear view of the bay. We could not fault anything. The outdoor share kitchen was very and very well fitted out. The jetty a couple of flood lights, which attracts insects, which in turn attracts small fish, which in turn attracts dolphins. We had 2 dolphins put on a great fishing show.

You're lucky the owners of this property let people stay here - what a privilege! Highlights include: the very cute cabins (comfy beds too), the huge outdoor common kitchen, the BEAUTIFUL ocean view, koalas on property, property manager very friendly, super relaxing vibe overall, free parking... what more could you ask for? I almost didn't want to leave a good review because I want to keep this place a secret all to myself! It's perfect.

This is our second visit to the Sea Shanties and we absolutely love it. This time stayed in cabin 5 which has a waterfront view. It is relaxed, cosy and a hidden wildlife oasis. There are resident koalas. We saw 4 this visit, one climbed down the tree and walked through the kitchen! The outdoor kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. We absolutely love this place. Will be back again.

We spend 4 nights in cabin 5. It was perfect the cabins are immaculate and well appointed. The communal kitchen is excellent. It was a wonderful Place to meet other guests We saw heaps of dolphins as we sat watching the sun set with our wine. We also saw plenty of Koalas. There is a short walk to a deserted beach on the way there we say kangaroos and more koalas.

Just spent a relaxing 3 days at Sea Shanties with our labrador. Great waterfront venue with clean, spacious, well appointed cabins offering a nautical theme. Lovely lawn area at rear of property where you can see the best sunsets!! Plenty of bird and wildlife around ( kookaburras, koalas and dolphins) and short walk to amazing wide sandy beaches. Thanks for a fabulous relaxing, pet friendly holiday!

For a young family the cabins are fantastic.....plenty of room and clean. The outdoor kitchen and covered eating area make it a wonderful spot to sit and relax while watching the sun set and watch the kids fish off the jetty. The site is also pet friendly, which is great for those who want to travel with their dogs. Walking distance to Amity beach and the local restaurant. Great for just a weekend or longer....will stay here again.
